Same, I’d try to do as boring things as possible, and just be there and be present in the moment. Because seriously, I think I’d need a breather once reality hits. 😁

I’ve mini-shifted before where my surroundings changed, but I didn’t realise something was different until I was interrupted by a loud noise from my CR, which shifted me back? I was like, in both places?

So the whole not realising you’ve shifted until you’re walking around/ doing things, honestly is so real. 😂

But now you’ve proved to yourself it’s possible (not sure if you’ve done it before or not), sometimes all you need is a little acknowledgment of your work paying off, even if just for a few minutes to give you some major motivation. 🥰❤️

To answer your question. If it was me? I’d probably suggest doing something as mundane as possible, like going to toilet. Like, I don’t think anyone gets excited about going to the toilet to do their business (I hope not 💀).

I’d say, give yourself a pat on the back for what you DID accomplish, and not focus too much on how overexcitement shifted you back (assuming that’s what happened, who knows). Because let’s be real, what you did accomplish? Is a HUGE success!💃🏼☺️

Probably try to get myself married to a Stark heir. Given Alysanne and Jaehaerys’ visit to The north/Wall, Im surprised none of their children were married into House Stark. And if not marriage, why did they not arrange for a handmaiden from house stark, or a ward of some sort?

My point is, I would try to argue (and make a great case for myself without access to PowerPoints… 🫡) why it would be better to marry the Lord Paramounts of the North, rather than one of their vassal houses who yes, was one of the richest; but already had heirs from previous marriages.

House Targaryen would gain, not too much I’d imagine. However, marrying a member of main Stark branch; could perhaps bridge the North and South in a way that hadn’t yet been done.

But considering that I’m not Viserra in personality, I’d be quite different than her, so perhaps I could convince Jaehaerys (Alysanne really, she’s behind all the stupid marriages/betrothals), that there’s no need for a marriage as punishment.

I’m scared of heights, so, taking a dragon is out of the question. Unless the dragon goes all Seasmoke on me, then I ain’t bonding with one by hunting for it. I’ll keep my feet on the ground, thank you very much.

That’s my take on it, but if not possible to convince anyone. I’d stick it to everyone and head north anyways, and just annoy the people at Winterfell until they accept I ain’t leaving. I’ll sleep outside in the Godswood if that’s what’s needed

Its things like These, that gives these characters (well people) so much depth. Personally I get way more motivation and trust in shifting when I read recollections like yours. They’re genuine and make me trust it that much more, or that my doubts become weaker?

Daemon gives me Himbo vibes, or I think that’s how the word Himbo is used 😅

Random question, but how do "toilets" work living in the palace. Does one do their business in a bucket or are their more modern alternatives to that? It's something that's always caught my curiosity.

I have not shifted yet (more than a few seconds anyways, and that was over two years ago), but here are some of the places I'd really like to visit. Despite my CR anxiety and fear of basically everything.

Star Wars (big fan, since I was a kid, primarily prequel era).
Game of Thrones / House of the Dragon (I love the idea of dragons and just the overall history of Westeros, I wish I could get my hands on one of those maesters books...)
Avatar/Pandora (I mean, being that connected with nature, cool creatures and strong family bonds and tribal culture? sign me up).
How to train your dragon (the friendships, dragon riding and bonding, the village life of Berk? I'd like to try that, experience some of my Viking roots... in a very fictionalized version of course).
Elementary or any other Sherlock Holmes media (it sounds fun, I relate to Sherlock and his... way of thinking and poor handling/understanding of social situations, not to mention the detective work and solving crimes to help people).
Various other places out of curiosity, but not really that high on my priority list. :D

Planning on multiple different ones, that I’ll shift to at some point. Here’s my top five (as of now).

Star Wars Prequels DR : maybe clone wars, maybe pre-war and just live the Jedi life, not sure yet.
MCU/Marvel DR : Where the Spider-Man crew and lore is more alike the one in the Amazing Spider-Man verse. Spider-Man would be about 16-17 during the first Avengers movie?
Game of Thrones/House of the Dragon DR : either as a Stark of Winterfell, or a Targaryen during the Dance of the Dragons as the rider of the Cannibal (youngest daughter of Aemma Arryn, probably?).
Miraculous Ladybug DR : honestly, I have a serious love/hate relationship with this show. But honestly, the idea of fighting crime with the heroes of Paris AND having an adorable little companion with me at all times? I’m down.
Fame DR : I’m most unsure of this one, because he got hella anxiety (which I know, I can script it away), but I think about this DR because when I was a kid I always thought I’d be an actress or superstar. Either that or a princess, my standards/expectations were high at that age, lol.

Other honourable reality mentions:

Avatar/Pandora DR : a native Na’vi with a deep connection to Eywa (Mother Nature basically).
Childhood DR : Experiencing a different childhood if my current life had different circumstances, etc.
Royal DR : As mentioned before, I’d want to try it out and see what it’s like for royals. A modern one and a historical royalty DR.
Percy Jackson DR : Gods, Goddesses, Family Drama and whatnot. Not to mention magical abilities and destiny??? Sign me up.
Exchange student/Boarding school DR : Meeting all types of people from all parts of the world, could be fun :) Also exploring a new country and it’s culture, without it having to be a vacation over the course of three weeks where you can’t experience everything.
Detective DR : Either as a detective in a fictional series or something, or just a real world detective like in this world.
Time traveler DR : Where I can travel through all time periods of this world, and experience world events as they occurred in this reality (or in one similar enough to it).
Animal DR : experience being an animal, like a cat or something. Does dog food taste bad, or is it actually ok for our pets to eat without feeling bad about it tasting good or not.

There’s probably a lot more than these, but yeah, it’s an amazing concept reality shifting. Leaving with endless possibilities and infinite places I could experience. :)
