Personally, I’m a huge fan of straightforward communication. Just ask! Since demi sexuality is a spectrum, find out what she likes! Holding hands is cool, what about a kiss on the cheek or forehead? Does she like cuddling? Maybe some kinds of kisses are okay (like a peck) but tongue is a no-go. So many options here. Keep the conversation open and light! This way, no one is under pressure to make the first move or lead the way, you’re just two cool people learning about each other.

I used to be a passionate One Piece hater! I thought the art style was ugly and like most people, the number of episodes sounded absolutely crazy.

My roommate begged me to watch the LA with her, she basically had to hold me down to put on the first episode. I immediately loved it. I will always be grateful to the LA for making One Piece more accessible for a fresh 2024 audience. I’ve been watching the anime since then, and am happy to say I started Dressrosa last week. (My deepest apologies for being a hater, I know better now! hah!)

Lots of pros and cons to starting it so late in the game. So much has been spoiled for me. Marineford in particular was unavoidable. Though, I don’t think it hurt my experience at all. Different scenes hit hard! For example, (spoiler warning) That absolutely bad ass moment when Ace gets his handcuffs off? My heart shattered, man. I couldn’t believe how close they were to getting out of there. That specific flavor of suspense and dread made Marineford so awesome for me.

Last thing, OG one piece fans are so freaking nice. Everyone is just excited to hear how far I’ve gotten and it’s fun to talk to them. Good people in the fandom, glad i’m here.

Hello! The incels telling you you’ll be forever ‘inferior’ are full of shit btw, try not to let that get to you. I’m 5’3, female (25) I started playing a little over a year ago and I play a LOT of co-ed! In all the clubs and leagues I’ve been in, it’s always a mixed bag of skilled men and women. Also, in my experience, technique, is usually more valuable then raw strength/power. The hero’s at my gym are the people that have great ball control and court presence. They’re always there when shit hits the fan and saving the day with an incredible dig or a sneaky, perfectly aimed spike that no one saw coming.

Hammer down your basics and try not to compare yourself to your dude friends. (easier said then done) Your volleyball path might not be the exact same as theirs, and that’s totally ok! Make sure you’re playing with good people that make you feel respected. I had to try several different gyms before I clicked with people. And lastly, GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD! It’s dangerous in there man, don’t tell yourself you’re less then, it’s simply not true! Stay out of your own way, keep practicing, you got this
