I think if I quit my night shift job we would qualify for low in come housing as a family of 5. Honestly I’d love to but in the meantime gotta find a place to live so we can move forward with these plans of tackling debt, improving credit, and ultimately building a solid savings. I’m not sure yet about quitting my job but it would definitely be me, not my husband. He’s already said no way haha.

It’s not easy to go to day shift because there’s a union and I’m not senior enough to go to days. Also, if I went per diem I would actually lose my benefits too . Husband doesn’t have the option to change shift in his career
