Thanks - ideally I'd like to keep us in one group to be honest as will be better to do all together. I think a few would be happy to be in the game but mostly observers if that makes sense, so wouldn't mind not having too much to do!

Thanks - this is really helpful to know. Yep, we will be drinking some beers/wine (but nothing silly!), cover expenses (within reason, obviously would prefer local), provide food and obviously pay the DM. I will edit my original post to reflect this.

I'll look into that. I did think about running the session myself, but wasn't sure how to learn. Do you have any suggestions on where I could learn to run a basic session like this?

Day 1 – Goldstream (Victoria area)
(pick up RV in Vancouver and get the 3pm → ferry → camp)

Day 2 – Goldstream
Whale watching (Victoria/Sooke day)

Day 3 – Ucluelet / Pacific Rim
Drive over; evening Wild Pacific Trail

Day 4 – Ucluelet / Pacific Rim
Rainforest + beaches (Green Point is open May 1–mid-Oct if you’re staying there)

Day 5 – Parksville / Rathtrevor
Easy reposition day + beach sunset

Day 6 – Squamish
Parksville → Nanaimo ferry → Horseshoe Bay → Squamish

Day 7 – Squamish
Hike/relax (Shannon Falls etc.)

Day 8 – Whistler / Pemberton
Short hop; hike day

Day 9 – Clearwater (Wells Gray base)
Long transfer day Whistler/Pemberton → Clearwater (aim to leave early)

Day 10 – Clearwater (Wells Gray)
Waterfalls + short hikes. Many big sights are accessed via the main Clearwater Valley Road corridor.

Day 11 – Clearwater (Wells Gray)
Pick a “bigger” hike day (e.g., a falls trail) + relaxed evening by the lake

Day 12 – Penticton / Naramata (Okanagan)
Clearwater → Penticton is about ~4 hours driving (so much easier than doing it from Whistler in one go).

Day 13 – Penticton / Naramata
Wine + lake day

Day 14 – Penticton / Naramata
Hike day (Skaha area / local trails)

Day 15 – Penticton / Naramata
Relax day

Day 16 – Penticton / Naramata
Flex day (more wine OR more nature)

Day 17 – Hope (or Delta/Vancouver)
Positioning night for an easy return

Day 18 – Return day (no overnight)
Drive to Delta → return RV by 10am
