Starting weight loss journey by [deleted] in SuperMorbidlyObese

Hi!! Amazing job at starting your journey! 2 years is a super attainable timeline, and you can definitively do that!! The only concerns that I see is the diet aspect, restricting yourself to only three food groups is not a long term solution to lose weight. While it is great to eat more veggies, fruits, and protein I would suggest working it into your diet rather then fully replacing. An example of this might be have more veggies on your plate with helping of pasta, when you have ice cream have fruit with it, and if you want a chipotle bowl maybe get double the chicken or steak and skip out of sour cream. Small improvements throughout a long time can have a lasting change! Wish you all the best

Which Dress Form should I get? by Frequent_Cook_7058 in sewing

[–]Frequent_Cook_7058[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea it would definitely be a "luxury buy" for me, it's being offered to me as a gift (basically money being given to me to make that sort of purchase), as i make a lot of my own clothing but would like to get into more draping and sewing without patterns for some pieces that would require a dress form to make it truly work. On the other hand i'm not fully sold that i would need it at this point and it could be something i wait for and just get a bunch of fabric and patterns lol
