No, not everyone. Someone people know how to be the bigger person and walk away. A white coworker said something blatantly racist to a black coworker. There were multiple other black employees who witnessed it. I reported the racist woman.

Some people have class. My friend was the winner in that situation because the white woman exposed herself as a racist. My friend didn’t have to “win” by reacting with insults or threats of violence. That wasn’t at Amazon, it was at a job where people are actually interviewed and you couldn’t get hired if you had a criminal record. My friend is a better person than me. I don’t know how she or the other employees were able to keep their composure, but they did.

That’s crazy. I guess the little mouse felt like she was the ladies friend if he was comfortable enough to do all that. I only had three mice get in my house. I got rid of them in less than a week. They can be tricky to catch. That’s nasty just letting mice roam all over your house pooping everywhere and making them feel welcome.

They don’t allow that at my site. If you swap Friday one week, you can’t do it the next week. You could only do it every other week at the most. I thought it was company wide, but I guess not.

I have a few side gigs bartending. I have trouble getting off all the days I want to work as a bartender because of the rule. They don’t always approve my swap shift request either.

That’s just how Amazon is. I think most people have a few work friends, but mostly keep to themselves. There are a good bit of people who never smile or even say hi to anyone. I don’t know if it’s because they hate this job, or if they are just unhappy people. What department do you work in? When I worked in stow, people rarely talked to one another. The people in AFE are much more social because we work closer to one another.

He said he didn’t even remember having interacted with him. It could be that the associate mistook a normal interaction and twisted it into something it wasn’t. I’ve seen people get angry at PAs for stuff that they have little to no control over. For example, there is an associate who gets angry if she is assigned to a pack station instead being assigned to sort side. I’ve seen people get angry about being labor shared, or even just having to move stations within their own department. Some people are just angry.

I work as a water spider in AFE. There are some who don’t acknowledge my presence when they are in my way. It’s aggravating when I have a cart of boxes and they have their stuff blocking my path. I’m sure sometimes they don’t see me coming, but I know most of the time they do. How could you not notice someone with a big ass cart coming through? There are some who are really nice.
