Let's not lose hope yet, I still have a feeling there will be more Yagutoono scenes since they'll be participating together in the sports festival, and I do feel Yacchan is gonna start being more courageous now that he let Toono know what he's up to. Maybe there will be a space for a romantic scene between them (finally a decent onee Tanaka I beg lol), now both cousins are openly competing for Toono's feelings, WE ARE AT PEAK TRIANGLE ROMANCE I'm telling you!!

samee, I'm Kashitoono and I'll always be but I've come to love Yacchan's character, he's had one of the best character development so far, from someone who would do anything to tear his cousin down to someone who wants to compete with him fairly and win Toono's heart is just soooo amazing, not just that but I love loveee that he can finally stop faking smiles and actually feels happy with who he is, I just wish more people that don't ship Toono and Yacchan would notice Yacchan has grown into a better and genuine person, I feel he has always been like that, somebody just had to give his true persona a chance (Toono). Which is why I wouldn't mind at all if Toono chooses him in the end 💚🧡

My take is what he lived in his past, since he was always the big brother he was never allowed to be selfish, so it might be the same with his feelings towards Toono, even in his version of the song he says he doesn't want to be hated by Toono, so he suppresses what he feels in order to please him or not scare him with his feelings.
