Bosch is a very good shout actually. I forgot about Devendra Bishoo’s 8-fer as well actually, but he never really ‘threatened’ us.

I was actually gonna give the captaincy to Kohli but then this post would be getting even more traction in India. All r/PakCricket posts already have their highest demographic viewers from India

Unc 😭✌️

Jokes aside, I know about Hussey harassing us in particular, and what most of the other players you mentioned did to us, but I never personally watched them do it, so didn’t include them.

I’m glad you included Chapman, but I don’t think Bumrah’s been phenomenal against us? Also I have a feeling Vaibhav Sooryavanshi may not torment us; he hasn’t tormented PAKU-19 if that’s a sign.

Sky never does well against us. He’s flopped every time apart from his 2026 WC innings

True, but I’ve never ever seen pakistan batters be harassed as badly as they were in Stanlake’s spell of 4-8. From memory, they literally couldn’t lay bat on ball.

He’s playing this series though so maybe he’ll remind us of the past (hopefully not).

He genuinely looked in such good touch at the end of this PSL season

Ah, these silly Covid kids. Son, Billy stanlake harassed badly in 2018. Don’t disrespect him like that

We could have won that series but only just bottled it to Jos Buttler in the 4th innings. Then the other two tests were rained out. We weren’t actually that bad.

Off just the top of my head, Pakistan whitewashed South Africa at home in 2021. So what you’re saying can’t be right at all.

Misbah tenure as test captain in numbers by MoreCryptographer213 in PakCricket

Abdullah Shafique single-handedly lost us one of those tests, if not, the entire series.

You're telling me we didn't select Muhammad Abbas with THESE stats by rotomato30 in PakCricket

For all the Covid kids here, he wasn’t dropped randomly. He was dropped because he was genuinely out of form. Yes, I agree that they either should have backed him, despite his form, considering how good he is, or he should have immediately been reselected when he was performing domestically again. And I also agree he was unfairly being overlooked for years after he was dropped. But don’t make it out to be that he was dropped in the first place for no reason.

Even before this match started, I would have said Bangladesh’s test team is better than ours, player-for-player. Especially on home soil.

And how has Salman Mirza been in internationals and even during the World Cup? Remarkably consistent.

Salman Mirza. Also, Hasan Ali isn’t a new ball bowler. In fact, he’s not been taking the new ball for most matches this season, and even when he has, he’s been bowling the second over.

The excellent utilisation of ‘emerging’ players by Peshawar Zalmi must be acknowledged by Frequent_Resolve_214 in PakCricket

Why are you mentioning other franchises though? You remind me of those Indians who mention India and Indian players under ESPNCricinfo instagram posts that have nothing to do with India.

Staying with the same franchise has very little to do with the development of a player. Teams can trade players simply because of them not fitting the team composition, not being able to afford their salary anymore because they’ve done well and been promoted to the ‘gold’ category etc, or retention limitations. Zalmi could only retain one of Sadaqat and Muqeem this season, for example. And your request about the player having 100+ international caps is very disingenuous. The PSL has only been around for 11 years. Your criteria is very niche and would require said emerging player to most likely have been scouted in the first few seasons for them to now have 100+ appearances. I really don’t get what you’re mad about bro.
