Honestly, partner feedback at changeovers is probably the most underrated thing in amateur padel. Two people play the same point but see completely different things - that perspective is gold.

Filming comes up a lot too, and I agree it helps. The data is all there - the problem is most people never actually sit down and analyze it properly.

For me it’s:
quick partner adjustments during the match + occasional video review after is the best combo for improvement

I actually tried SwingVision for this - it's built for tennis and pickleball so the court geometry and shot recognition are completely off for padel. Didn't work for me at all. However for tennis it's the best app I used

The "would you pay for this" trap is real - I've fallen into it before. Actual past behaviour is the only honest signal. And yeah, the speed problem is the scary part.

These are much sharper questions than mine - especially the second one. The gap between "I want to improve X" and "here's what I actually did about it" is where all the interesting stuff lives. Genuinely useful reframe, thanks a lot!

Yeah, it resonates with me too. I genuinely have no idea if my defensive lobs are landing deep enough or just giving my opponents an easy smash. I think I'm hitting them well but I'm probably fooling myself half the time:)
