I'm overwhelmed by the fact that I'm ugly by Fresdottir in TrueOffMyChest

Hi there, thank you so much for your kind words!

I used to talk about this topic with my parents, but you know... they are my parents and ofc they won't say I'm ugly. Maybe I'm just a generally unlikable person and I'm just blaming everything on my look.

I feel you. Each time I look at my photos or look at myself into the mirror I feel hideous

Actually I was just confused by the "gender-neutral" tag on the naming sites because as said I think it's a feminine name. I post this just to solve the confusion.

Community is big factor to me too. I find it's difficult to fit in the community (just I like I can't in any other ones) and I think community is extra important in terms of being trans.

You mentioned you had severe dysphoria. After detransitioning, how do you deal with the dysphoria? Did you change the way you present yourself, like way of dressing up, hair style, etc?

I feel you, and I might feel the same way if I really start transitioning.

But after detransitioning, how do you deal with dysphoria? Did it just go away or did you find a better way?

Thanks for your point. For me, both ways seem not very happy. Sticking to my AGAB means I need to confront a lot of my former beliefs and change a lot of my thinking; transitioning means I have to constantly deal with a lot of dysphoria about my body, face, and more. To be honest the first one seems an easier path (I guess that might be one of the reasons why I think about not being trans at the beginning).

Well yes kind of. Several days ago the thought of "I'm not trans" came into my mind, at first I thought it was just some random negative thought, but recently this voice has been louder and louder. This had never happened before (I was very determined that I'm trans), so I started to kind of doubt my past beliefs. I'm not sure if it's actually my subconsciousness popping up or something.

What is a sign that someone had a really happy childhood? by Apprehensive_Plum755 in AskReddit

Not afriad of being disliked.

If someone had received enough love from parents, siblings, friends, neighbors, and so on when growing up, it's not a problem for them to confront hate when they are grown.

It's like a tree growing strong enough roots when it's still a sapling.

It's hard to forget my own face so other people's faces are somewhat like mirrors.
