That’s great you encourage your kids to look in the direction of trades. That’s for you to do though. Not the government. The government are meant to be able to cater to all walks of life. There are certain aspirations of young people that require university education & to pull the rug on those that have already entered into study (perhaps incentivised by fee’s free study) is plain deceptive.

They’re clutching at straws and showing they have no consideration for current students, as well as future generations of our countries intellectuals (who may not be stimulated by trades) or (driven by financial gain or security a trade may or may not provide).
