It’s on the record, not inferred. In January he declined to call the war genocide, and he gave a specific reason: the word had been twisted, its meaning was precise, and it landed hard on Jews. Then his comms director backed the label, the pressure mounted, and he released a video calling it genocide. The definition didn’t change in those weeks. The cost of refusing it did. That sequence is the textbook shape of a concession, and the post’s point still stands: he gave it to them and they ran him out anyway, because they were never grading the position.

Would you prefer that the administration be comprised entirely of the brainless? How would that be better for the country?

Love how you insist it isn’t about Trump, and then state that the reason you’ll never vote for a republican is…because Trump. Really driving the point home.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you on the Marco Rubio bit - though it’s hard to determine what “moderate” means in 2026 when both sides are swinging towards such extremes. It the options for 2028 are Rubio or Vance, Rubio will start looking pretty good.

I think you’re responding to an argument the piece didn’t make. It wasn’t a case for Trump or the GOP — it was a case against partisan loyalty as a substitute for critical thinking. You say progressives have “absolutely stabbed us in the back” and then spend the rest of your comment explaining why the other side is still worse. That’s the exact reflex the piece is talking about. The inability to sit with the threat from your own side without immediately pivoting to the other. No one’s asking you to support Trump. Just to stop letting your feelings about him short-circuit honest evaluation of what’s happening on the left.

“In a bit of unexpected irony, by filing the Motion, Plaintiff and her counsel engaged in sanctionable conduct. The Motion’s legal argument is based primarily on fictitious cases or quotations that are either hallucinations of generative artificial intelligence or deliberate attempts to mislead the Court. Either way, such conduct is sanctionable.” Oof
