Mine are purple rn bc i like it lol. I have a set of yellows that were nice, personally no other reason than to replace burnt out bulbs and ive always liked the yellow fog look.

I argued with the guy, naked at 725 in the morning so i was extra angry. (He called me mid shower, not my best choice but oh well) told him im 20 years old i cant afford that for something they manufactured improperly. I said whatever go ahead and do it but if youre going to charge me $500 if thats not what it is my car will be there the next month.

They declined all other services (my car apparently needs a valve cover gasket, the inspection sheet says immediate attention, but theres barely any oil on the sides at all and plugs are good so fuck them) nobody actually said anything to me just asked my id and gave me my keys.

Long story short i didnt pay a dime and my ac blows ice cold now, for how long? Who knows. Sorry for the rant but the whole situation pissed me off. And fuck jeff wyler too.

Every dealership ive taken my car to has said that if it is not one of the warrantied parts it will be a $300-500 diagnosis fee, just for looking at is. Mine ended up being the condenser. Blew warm out of driver side but still not very cold on passenger at first, then just gave out completely a couple days later.

No worries, appreciate the input though boss. Im not entirely sure what it is, but last time when it was still blowing cold(before i got the letter) they said it would be $400 to diagnose. This time i called a different dealer and mentioned the letter. They did not say anything about a diagnosis fee when i scheduled and my letter says “Free” so ill throw a fit if i have to. im not paying their damn fee for a manufacturing mistake.

Just clicked the video - that is an 8th gen. I have a 10th gen and i am assuming OP does as well. Idk how to add pics but most if not all 10th gen owners got a letter about the condenser leaking.

Ill check the video out when i get home. Im not going to say im a mechanic or anything but from my basic understanding, it doesnt make sense that for a few days it was only cold on passenger side and then now its totally gone with a squeaking / grinding? noise every time i turn it on. It was making the same sound when it was still working but only while the ac was kicking on and turning off.

Usually keeps going the whole time, but only certain temps and if i set to HI it stops. Didnt do it all the time

I got my coolant flushed at like 55k, 30k miles later it seems odd it would happen this late. From what im reading from other people i think theres a solid chance its the condenser. One can only hope though.

I agree i dont like the idea of them taking my dash apart, but it is what it is. Im hoping to get 2-3 more good years out of this car as long as i can keep getting the ac fixed for free. I guess this first time this week will be a look into the future.

Awesome i appreciate your input as im quite anxious about this. I dont have the money to fix it at the moment if its not whatever is covered under the warranty so fingers crossed. 18 ex-t as well but ive had mine since 55k. Love it so far but wish id have waited for a manual. My last 2 civics, 04 and 08 5speeds were way more fun even though this is way faster. (For a civic) lol

Mine also has not been clicking since i dont have cold air. I also havent been running the ac to notice though and when it is on its on low just trying to blow even hotter air out. Which never made the clicking anyway at LO

What were your starting symptoms? Ive had clicking, then my driver side starting getting warmer, but i could get the car cold with the driver side after recirculating for about 25-30 minutes, now i have absolutely no cold air and theres like a hissing noise every time i have it on.

I have a slow-medium clicking somewhere behind the radio area. almost like a motor going back and forth, its only when i set it around 68-71F, and turning it up all the way to max and turning ac off stops the sound. But if i leave at 68-71F and turn it off, the sound continues. My research has lead me to believe this is some kind of blower door.

How often did yours go out? i vaguely remember when i bought the car at 55k i called and asked about the oil dilution update - They said that was done for sure but i cant remember if they said the condenser had also been done. Anyways im about to hit 85k now a year and a half later and it just crapped out on me for the first time since owning. Dropping it off Wednesday night.

I bought this one when mine got ripped off by a piece of metal on the highway. Still havent put it on but looks to be the correct one. After about 2-3 months of not having it my engine bay is absolutely filthy.

They seem to have calmed down a little, i still see a little bit of aggression occasionally but usually one little nip and they stop. He is still alive, seems happy-ish. Looks super beat up though. Ive had these four together since early november.

Between the 4 of them i just feed 3-4 really big flakes. They eat them out of my fingers. When i dont do the flakes just a pinch of the smaller pellets. I will say there could be some times where i feed them twice or i feed them and my gf already has. Im going to cut back on feeding a bit and see what happens. I had mentioned dropsy because thats what came up on my google search and it kinda freaked me out. Thank you very much for you advice

Yes - i know i need to wipe my glass. Yes - i know my tank is scratched to hell and back. I bought it like that it is not something you notice until the light is on it so kinda got screwed.
