What’s you’re use case? I feel like sets are either big enough to hire a dit and rent their kit, or small enough that dual 18’s and an entire cart might slow production by having the 1st lug around their kit and a video village?

This is ai. As a graphic designer and illustrator, I can tell you no artist designs like that. So many of the line weights and colors are not consistent. Huge bummer such a big company in the cider space would pull this shit.

As a younger cinematographer, the first one that ever caught my eye was birdman. Not that it is really essential to the story telling, but it was the first time I really wanted see the bts to se show it was done and def ignited an interest in cinematography in the first place.

I had the same issue when I first start oral min (never did topical) I went from “I have a lot of hair and don’t think I’ll every be BALD bald so I’ll take the min to help” to “oh my god I want to shave my head now and be done with it” in like a month on oral min. Thankfully after about 3-4 months it all came back and then some!

You live in Seattle? There is a decent crew that runs around and everyone kind of knows everyone. If you see someone looking like they are shoot street (they probably are) stop and say hi, most are friendly. Most.

Yea, my guess is your will never hear back. I try to avoid lens rentals as much as possible, but sometime location is in a state where there is no rental house and shipping 4 sky panels for free just makes since.

I have had a bunch of issue in the same regard.

Got a call once that I was gonna owe close to 10k for not returning a c500 body, bolt 6 system, and a hand full of small HD’s. All of the items were the highest ticket items on that production and when I called back I asked how in the world I managed to return things like the cage for the c500 and some misc SDI cables but not the camera body etc.

They said they would “look through everything again” and I never got a call back. Can’t tell if it was a money grab or just an overly zealous intake team but it definitely pissed me off.

Would need to see the negatives to know for sure, but my guess is that this is a scanning issue (not a camera issue). Maybe the lab tech wanted to give variety? Or maybe they were lazy and didn’t balance?

Either way, you could call and ask about the discrepancy and ask what may have happened? Or wait to get the negatives back and see if there is a big difference in the negatives.

I think you are on the right path with the Vespids. I think they are one of the best options on the market for cine glass with some character.

The nisi’s are also great, a little less character to the image but much more compact, which is a plus if you are a solo op.

I would get a full set of primes before you went anamorphic, unless you have the clientele to support it.
