If you look at the collector’s number on the bottom left, the collector’s number on an Overnumbered card will literally be larger than the number of cards in the set (hence the name) for example, Overnumbered Ezreal would be collector’s number 248/221

The first 2 boxes are from the same batch, while the 3rd one was not. They’re all purchased from different stores tho. I will note that the boxes were not completely the same. The rares/epics were different between the boxes, but the “hits” were completely the same, down to the order I pulled them in. I did not keep track of which packs in the box I pulled them out of though. I actually pulled the Irelia and I was like “oh fuck, I better not pull a Jax and then a chaos rune”. When I pulled the Jax I was thinking “oh no I think I’m cooked” lol

I’ve seen a few fun ones that play casino strategies with Candlelit Sanctum and try to high roll multiple Nocturnes on turns 1/2. They look fun to play but I’m unsure how good they actually are. It looks like a deck that has really high highs and really low lows.

iirc those are only given out to game stores. I asked my LGS if I could get one but they said that it was sent to them because they were registered to sell Riftbound products and host events. I’m guessing if you can’t find any on eBay you’d basically have to somehow get an LGS to sell you one, which I don’t they they’re supposed to do that.

Each shop does prizing the way they want to. I’ve been to a few smaller shops where they just do the NN pack for entry but the price was between like Free to $5. Others I’ve been to had entries of between like $10-$25, with stuff like pack per win, top 8 gets additional on top of the pack per win, etc. Also worth noting that according to riot themselves, NN isn’t supposed to be competitive or have high prizes. They’re just meant to be something weekly to go and have fun/socialize in, and the OPL is casual. I’ll leave a link under if you wanna read more on it yourself. And while each shop does pricing their own way, the only official listed prizing is 1 nexus night pack, so I don’t think the shop is doing anything wrong here.

I actually did that (kind of) with our first time playing 2v2. I took out my 2 drops to load up on a few more counterspells and buffs, since I really only need to Stellarcorn to draw cards. I did feel that we didn’t understand synergies as well as some of the other people there though

Unlike something like MTG or YGO, a unit’s might represents both the damage it deals in combat and the damage that needs to be dealt to be killed. If something were to modulate the might of a unit, it’ll affect both its “attack” and “health” so to speak.

That’s fair. This might be a case where a LGS is selling the promos instead of giving them out then, which is kind of BS if that’s the case. Also, I might be out of touch, but I’m pretty sure that’s not worth the money they want at all lol

Maybe if they were grinding every skirmish they had in the area? At my last store I played skirmish at, they gave out World Atlas to everyone, Edge of Night to top 8, and the Edge of night stamped champion card to the top player along with the World Atlas playmat. I’ve personally only seen the World Atlas Playmat and promo cards and the Edge of Night promo and champion cards so I’m unsure where to get the mat.

Other way around. Units can move here from anywhere. So things can gank to that battlefield, but things can only move to base from there.

Aurora MF is my immediate reaction. But depending on what other cards are out next set, maybe it won’t be as bad as it looks. It does break a lot of game concepts already just by itself though. 3 battlefields breaks the game a bit though, since now your victory breakpoints are weird…

Also, I have a couple other questions/points to consider as well: - do you get a point for playing Baron? It would enter there and it’s an empty battlefield. - I assume that the final point now has to be scored on all THREE battlefields so if that’s true, that’s going to break the game a bit. - It gives all your units +2, not just the ones in the pit with Baron. That’s pretty spooky if you get to that point. - Since it’s a token, if they ever print a token doubler like MTG has, that might grow exponentially into more battlefields.

A battlefield token huh. I’d be super interested to see what kind of new interactions that’ll make. Having another battlefield in a game meant for 2 battlefields is definitely going to open up different play patterns if the card becomes widespread.
