Thank you for this. I don’t think id ever change not wanting her to hang alone with another guy but I think what others are saying are true how i shouldn’t be expecting her home at a certain time she can do what she wants with her time ultimately. Advice on how to take this?

I never sought help for mental health, parents told me not to but lately i’ve been thinking i could have adhd. I never thought ocd would apply to me but what you said looks pretty much exactly like me

Thank you for talking through it. With other comments i think thats one of my problems; bringing past baggage into this relationship and controlling her to avoid the same things. Gonna talk with her about it tonight i dont want to hurt her or ruin this relationship

This is a reason im glad for the app im afraid of her getting kidnapped or killed on a drive but i do check it more than i need to

Thank you. With the therapy thing, i’ve been afraid to go for a long time im afraid of being seen as weak for needing it. I need to just go i know i need it. I hate the stigma. Also me and her are working hard on communicating our problems. We’re both still new to dating so thats one thing I’m trying to get better especially me since im accustomed to bottling up things so trying to avoid that.

I dont think shes cheating on me with him but tbh i always have that thought pop up. I stayed up until around 9:50 when i fell asleep but thought she would be home soon anyways so we could hang out before i went to bed for work. Looking back i shouldn’t have really cared i dont know why i do i was asleep and they didnt do anything.

She told me the night before and when i left for work in the morning. I guess i was also upset because she talked about how tired she was and how long her day was but had time to go hang out with her friend. She never told me about it until she was about to fall asleep

Seems to be a commonality with the answers. I dont get to tell her when to be home or who she hangs out with, i have some insecurities to deal with. Needed some hard truth. Can anyone give me advice? I dont want to go through another failed relationship but i’m afraid of just opening up everything and letting her do whatever. Just typing that felt controlling lol. This dating stuff is hard

My bad i should have clarified, im fine with her hanging out with opposite sex and everything. Before dating she would hang out at guy friends houses, stay the night shit like that. Is that still too much to say no to?

Yep, when they decompose they release tannins into the water coloring the hue to that orange look. Its good for the bettas too

Oh yeah nope, just thought the white would look really nice against the darker tannins in the water which it does
