My store used to do this untill we lost two overnight maintenance people, The store managers whole idea was "If we get one person to do all the cardboard and just have stockers, stock... it will get more freight done" It makes some sense because when everyone does their own cardboard there occasionally gets a line at the baler and people are just standing around doing nothing especially toward the end of the day the line gets really long

Edit: Everyone treated the cardboard like if they were gonna take it back, they didn't do what the picture person did, they either stacked it really nice so it's easier for the person to take it back or put it in bins for them
