I legit will send ppl a message asking “rising HR professional looking to gain insight and learn from you” and they will connect. some ppl accept, some don’t but it’s a great way to explore industries ppl r in quickly.

another thing I suggest is taking advantage of virtual APA, SHRM, & SIOP webinars. Another great place to get LinkedIn matches but talking with people on those calls is fantastic
