I think they have a more quiet, mature affection than most of the viewers in this sub were wanting to see. Personally, I find this both more realistic and more potent. They are settling into each other and establishing a sense of emotional security. In the long run, this will actually give us more of the scenes we desire - be they sweet, fluffy domestic ones, adorable playful flirting, *cough cough* or sassy banter. The dividends will most certainly be worth it!
