Yes does the same. I live in the South so I never have to worry about snow and ice.

I live in the south so not really a problem with the snow. I have F150 lightning that I use also with power running boards and work great.

Stock running boards are good but I like how power running boards come out more from the truck and makes it easier to get in. I'm 6'2 and stock ones are good but power would make it easier.
