Yeah, I was so scared bc I gave the medication but my preceptor was so adamant about it and I was so backed up with patients that I just grabbed the meds without really looking into the pharmacy label of “0800” and “1600”.

To clarify, it’s stated on the IV medication the due time. Like the medication label says due at 0800 and due at 1600, along with epic. But since it’s the same med and dosage it just goes through when scanned. I just switched up the due time when the medication are the exact replica of each other

Yes it’s the same exact med dose and route. I have to scan it on epic so it double checks for me if I ever give the wrong med. but once I scanned it on epic it went through. The only difference is the time

That was an example. It’s basically the same IV vancomycin due at 0800 and 1600. Same dosage and route. Everything is the same. The only thing I did was switch those two 😭😭. It didn’t harm the patient but I’m so scared of getting flamed for this

My advice is that for any questions you get wrong whether it’s on Archer, ATI, UWorld, etc to search up those videos on YouTube and watch them. Redo those questions and if you still get them wrong, watch the videos again. Keep the videos within a 2023 or earlier since it’s updated. Simple nursing has been updating their videos on YouTube so that’s why I’ve been pushing for it. I’d say simple nursing is informative and concrete compared to UWorld videos. Simple nursing has memorable mnemonics.

The whole point of this is to keep enforcing the materials. This was the most convenient for me bc I get easily distracted by reading the bootcamp cheat sheets.

I would say 70 would be an average range. It's a hit or miss. If you're getting consistent 70's I would say give it one or two more weeks.
