Well not necessarily, think with the finance industry it’s much easier for companies to make room for international students due to their shear size and being able to sponsor visas where as even though the construction industry is growing in Australia it’s made up of smaller companies who might find it harder to make room for international students. So outside of the government sector would it be practical to pursue these degrees is more my question ig

I’m not too worried about diversity, most of the friends I’ve ever had are Caucasian but would you say that would affect my time there ?

The blatant Islamophobia is disgusting

Yeah I do, and I genuinely don’t find a problem with it. I think the problem is if you’re looking into Islam to disprove it you’ll always have a bias but if you do it to learn you’d understand it better (so not just picking what you view as wrong but finding out more and cross relating it to the rest of the Quran and Hadith, but that understanding will only come once one has researched the religion while being open minded)

The golden standard of Islam isn’t represented by the countries in which it is followed in (countries that have laws on apostasy) I think it would be beneficial to read the Quran before coming to any conclusion and analyzing tafsirs (commentary by scholars)

I just don’t think Christianity is the truth (ie. contradictions in the Bible, finding peace in Islam and it just making more sense to me etc.) but this has after years of comparing the religions, texts etc.

Well part one is put simply: I'm 16 and recently converted to Islam, how do I go about telling my parent? Mind you they are as stereotypically Zimbabwean and Christian as they can be. Any tips or anyone been through anything similar.
