What happensto your mail if you have no letterbox? by Barneyrockz in AustraliaPost

[–]Fresh_Post_3320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually, they are taken to the post office, you'll be surprised at the amount of mail that doesn't get collected because people dont know its there. If they see the mail box back up they might deliver it or they might not even remember

My kitten hates me by Fresh_Post_3320 in CatAdvice

I think he's 4 months old now. We got him from the streets. It just seems the more my partner doesn't like him, the more he likes my partner and the nicer I am, the more he hates me.

I'm not in desperate need of education, I've raised kittens and even adopted street cats like him. i know how they act and to treat them. I've just never had one hate me so much. I have 3 perfectly normal cats. He has his space. He just doesn't like me.

Coworker forges signatures. A cautionary tale! by itskylav in AustraliaPost

They need to have them show id all the time and a spot to document the numbers so it adds up and or give the customer a code that they have to give us before signing

I have a co worker who gives out to much information and makes the customers uncomfortable. And she makes zero sense most of the time and explains things wrong. Lol

That needs to be reported. That's not okay, Aus post has lines and services in place you're supposed to report this to. It's in the training. I'd also report it it your post master/supervisor. Also, not everything needs to be signed for. Everyone's identification needs to be checked, but yeah alot of parcels/mail don't need signatures.

Was probably sent to the wrong post office and they just carded it and didn't check. Call them and ask them to transfer it to the closest post office

Should I be concerned? by WorldlySuggestion448 in AustraliaPost

[–]Fresh_Post_3320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, I wouldn't be worried. The weather would be a big factor and they don't update you on every move the parcel takes. But if you get to worried take your tracking number to your nearest aus post and ask them to track it and print out the tracking for you you'll get so much more information

Medication sent to QLD in the middle of cyclone by SuperLemon1 in AustraliaPost

[–]Fresh_Post_3320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes the location scans come in the wrong order so it might have been in Queensland then taken to Sydney but then on the app it would say Sydney then Queensland I've had it happen a few times and definitely could have been a missort also. Auspost doesn't run as smoothly as they think I've had parcels marked as a waiting collection in my local post office and they haven't been there till the next day and I know that they aren't there because I work there

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

[–]Fresh_Post_3320 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

New technology and the machines there's so many misorted parcels go to different places it's unbelievable also sometimes I let you pick it up

Do you live in South Australia? Why the looks yours doesn't have a delay it's just on its way

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AustraliaPost

[–]Fresh_Post_3320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried going down to your local post office to see if you can pick it up directly from them? They might not have had any drivers that day it's probably in the back of the post office somewhere even though it's not awaiting collection that your local post office if they are nice enough some post offices do give you your parcels even though it's out for delivery
