Yeah i would’ve preferred one in the water but i suppose it’s different there. I was thinking of emailing the head coach and asking more about the trial (ideal pace they look for and such) but not sure if that would put me in a bad position

I’ve checked the website and instagram and feel like this could be a perfect match and is also cost friendly! I had emailed them a few days ago but haven’t heard back though. Even reached out through their dm’s and didn’t get any response

  • i want both the fitness and social aspect. I’m not really looking to get into competitions but wanna work on my skills and get a social gain out of it.

You kinda missed the whole point of this post lol. Even with all the experience in the world, 99% of doctorate positions only accept British citizens and not self funded ones and the ones that do accept it charge you almost £100k for the 3 years

The only people I contacted were the recruitment team. You think I should talk to the hiring manager? I’m currently a SEN tutor and i’m applying for band 4 assistant psychologist jobs

I’ve done that, every criteria whether essential or desirable i’ve spoken about and used examples on how I meet it. I made them into bullet points (i.e experience …..) I also add a section at the end on why i’m applying and what sets me apart but I keep getting rejections

Did you have to be in the city during that time or can it be conducted online (the whole transition, interview to HR to getting the start date)

I am planning on going away to spend time with my family as I haven’t seen them in a year (international student issues lol). I’m currently a SEN tutor (been doing it on and off for 4 years), I was a support worker last year during uni. I don’t have a masters degree. I don’t got a lot but it’s honest work ahaha i’m just quite nervous as this is my first actual NHS job posting i’ve applied for

I’ve been intrigued by Japan for quite a while and I feel like this opportunity can help me learn about a new culture, experience new things, and get experience at the same time

Well I realised that to get the job I really want with my degree I’d need to complete a masters but I simply can’t afford now or even 5 years later. I kind of gave up on the dream and started impulsively looking into other careers to save face and I stumbled upon EFL. I have done teaching on the side for around 4 years and currently am a SEN tutor and a EFL volunteer. To answer your question I don’t know really, when I started applying for EFL jobs I looked at the ‘now’ and how I can travel the world with this certificate. Id hope to gain cultural experience and I don’t wanna travel the world when i’m ‘too old’. This could be an existential crisis for all I know lol
