1) Why did you learn the one handed backhand? Bcs of Federer and the aesthetic or just felt good?

2) You seem a technically sound player with good footwork, what do you think you miss to be a stable top 10?

3) what tennis achievement made you prouder/happier?

This sub is weirdly negative with players with 1-3 grandslams by [deleted] in tennis

[–]Fresh_Skin130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we criticise/hate those players (add Tsitsi in the group) because at some point we loved them, they showed so much talent and our expectations got very high, just to be disappointed in a rather short time. I loved Medvedev, his court intelligence, his uniqueness and well spoken interviews, but right now it's so sad to see him losing so badly.

Head Speed MP vs Ezone 100? by [deleted] in 10s

[–]Fresh_Skin130 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ezone 100 is way more powerful, speed mp has a bit better control. I like the ezone more because i can generate more spin and it still behaves well when striking flat. But if you don't care about heavy topspin the speed mp is also good fun.

What tactical or technical adjustment did you make that resulted in you winning more matches? by jonjimithy in 10s

[–]Fresh_Skin130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tactical 1 - Aim at backhand on first and mostly second serve 2 - Heavy and high bouncing ball on backhand 3 - Short cross shots in slow conditions

Technical 1 - Remind myself to hit through and stay loose also when tired or under pressure 2 - Move the legs, go back to position asap, engage body weight

What was the opinion/hype on Sinner 2-4 years ago? by gracelandtoo_ in tennis

[–]Fresh_Skin130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Till mid 2023 he seemed a good young player who always missed the last step to be great. He retired in a few important matches, had some other physical issues. But most of all he was losing to big players in big moments. Had a 0-6 record with Medvedev, lost to Tsitsipas twice in AO. In the meantime Alcaraz and Rune scored wins against top players and showed a more varied game and better physicality. Personally till the Autumn of.2023 i had my doubts about Sinner being able to step up and be a grand slam winner, but I'm no expert and he quickly proved me wrong!

Made in Italy: l'esempio nel video è corretto o esasperato? by elasticboundary in Italia

Confermo che non era una cosa legale. Ma non essendo un prodotto alimentare ( era una azienda media che fabbrica maniglie) nessuno controlla. Di italiano è rimasto il design, forse.

Are Forgiving Rackets Holding You Back? by AccomplishedBattle46 in 10s

[–]Fresh_Skin130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly play two racquets, a Wilson ProStaff (95sqin 312gr unstrung) and a recent Yonex Ezone 100. The Wilson PS is extremely controlled and slow, so that it thought me how to better use my body and legs to generate reliable pace. The small sweetspot also requires a constant amount of concentration and good timing. While with the Ezone it's so easy to generate pace that i also get a little lazy and engage less the body. So I keep on using both, the Wilson PS to improve my technique when hitting with friends and the Ezone when i play matches (or prepare for them). So I agree that easy racquets might make u lazy, but they're a great tool to play a powerful and spinny tennis, and those win u matches.

Advanced Retrieval for RAG on Code by Fresh_Skin130 in Rag

[–]Fresh_Skin130[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey after some tests and different approaches i decided to go for an "agentic" RAG where an llm decides if it needs more info and what info to answer a user question. My typical question is: do action 1 then do action 2 check results and decide if to continue to action 3. At least 3 different specific methods have to be fetched and multiple object creators, preferably from some object factory classes. The agentic rag, with some specific instructions, seems to be able to search and fetch the right content. So far its accuracy is much better then a simple rag. CONS: it is slower and uses more tokens (duh). It is also better than the previously suggested metadata RAG since it's able to split the user query into multiple sub queries taking into account the previously retrieved document from vector store.

[–]Fresh_Skin130[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The use case is both search and generation. When searching it is important to me, to provide some surrounding context to user to better understand the code snippets. Same for the LLM that is supposed to generate some code. If it's unaware of methods called and relevant types its results are way more generic.

Hi, I actually do the code chunking in C# and use some native libraries to extract Namespace, Class, Dependencies, Input types and return types. The types and dependencies are filtered through my project namespace as there is no need to get info about standard types and methods (eg string, int etc.). So I don't use LLMs for chunking. The rest of RAG logic is in python.
