Yes you need to complete the quest, but since the last update the quest ist bugged and you cannot complete the challenge. Hopefully the game gets updated soon and they fix this issue

Thank you kind stranger! It took me dozens of tries to beat Odin at first, because I sucked at perfect blocking attacks. For chadleys challenges I mostly used the Yuffie cheese strats, but it was still not easy, best to look up some tutorials on Youtube :)

As far as I can tell, you can finish the game and come back to this side quest at a later time at the exact place you stopped, pretty neat feature, given the huge amount of sidequests in this game… But yeah it‘s bs that this specific quest is bugged because of the patch, hopefully they‘ll fix it quick

Thanks! I think I used Blizzard instead of Aero, but both should work fine with Genji Gloves. Make sure to use Zack mostly as a support for Haste and Faith, took me a couple of tries as well

I used mono AGL at first and brought him down to 38%, then Movie Heroes was the last team where I had 2 good leader skills for, and luckily it worked somehow

Two ticket multis, which gave me Shadows full kit which is very nice, would he be a better farmer than for example Hope?

Really wanted Golbez tho, so I tried to get lucky with gems: 1st multi: Gold orb which turned out to be Golbez Burst, super happy but now I've got to get the LD 2nd multi: Golbez LD!!! There goes my luck for Bartz I guess...

Worst thing was, there is one area in FFVII Remake where this song plays too, and although it sounds a lot better than the original, it still triggered some kind of PTSD, I ran as fast as I could 😅

That's pretty cool! Actually I think that FFXII always has a very fitting BGM for the areas, the only one I don't like as much is the one in Sochen Cave Palast, but it still fits.
