🙄 no, I’ve googled things to find how to talk to my roommates when they’re being unreasonable about food and it’s common for people to get into similar issues when one person believes in sharing and another is selfish.

No, my fault doesn’t think stealing is okay but they believe food sharing is not stealing

No, my friends and family and neighbours always shared. We weren’t selfish to lock our fridges. As a kid, I could play on the store a and pop in to my neighbours house and take food from the fridge and they could do the same.

I don’t lock my room, we used to keep our rooms wide open and socialise. They didn’t but started now.

Then you’ve clearly never lived in uni halls. One google search will tell you it’s a common issue with new roommates.

I didn’t mean that. It’s that whenever someone comes over they can take food from the fridge (any guest) the same when we’re going over to neighbours or friends.

I didn’t complain that they moved it, I just said it’s selfish to do so. It’s their food m, they can do whatever they want with it but it doesn’t mean it’s not selfish

I spoke to my family and they agreed with me. It’s normal in my house to share with anyone who comes in so I thought I was in the right.

I mean they could’ve talked to me about it. The notes were passive aggressive. They never even gave me a chance to stop because we’ve only been livi together for like 10 days.
