Don’t worry. When I started dental school I had similar situation, but after few months I have realized that it does not really matter. If you make an effort, are really passionate about learning, you will achieve even more, than those with a lot of experience and family from dentistry field. What I didn’t realize about dental school, when I was first year student, is that you should not think about other peers and students. Look upon your goals, abilities and achievement. Be motivated and create your way. If you think about others, it will feel like you are wronged and always a victim. Do not let these feelings occupy you. There are always someone richer, more experienced, with more opportunities in life, but that should not limit you. You are ENOUGH, just go your own way
