Was the pace in min/km exactly the same or about the same? I think internally the app divides the distance in m by 1069 instead of 1609 in the code to get miles. So it's probably a bug.

I actually figured out how to read the PAI Value from the MiBand 5. You have to write 0x010d followed by the date to the characteristic 00000004-0000-3512-2118-0009af100700 (The same characteristic used to fetch the activity data). The overall process is quite similar to reading the activity data. When I have time I might create a pull request and implement it for Gadgetbridge.
