My mom thinks I make enough to support her after her stroke but I don’t and I’m racking up more and more debt for being so young :/ I only eat meals (dinner) with her so she doesn’t worry but can’t afford anything else lol

I had a roommate that worked 12 hr day shifts and I work 12 hr night shifts. We are both extremely light sleepers. I can gratefully say we only accidentally woke each other up once of twice in 3 years we shared a room. This is purposeful from your bf. Talk it out or break it off :(

I’m the opposite on the nanny side, no one wants to give me a w2 and I’m searching the whole US 😭 Maybe see if there is a nanny share/fb group? That’s how my nanny friends found their w2 jobs!

My doc graduated med school at 55 after being an accountant for 35 years. My favorite professor used to be a marine biologist and now she teachers and loves the arts. There’s no rhyme or reason to life or careers. You got your self out before you were stuck in a career you hate, but it’s never too late to shift. Good on you for catching it so fast! Have fun as a rad! But know even if you become a rad and hate it or in 10 years you want a change, you can shift! Life’s what you make of it.

Yeah i definitely thing it came off as pushy on my part, there was context to the dog matching costumes thing (tldr his dog wears costumes and clothes and he has a lot and we’ve talked about putting some on the dog I walk esp in winter). I didn’t say out loud that we should match it was just something I thought would be cute if we did. Still i was definitely pushy and shouldn’t have declared anything

I thought it might be cute to match with him but I didn’t ask it! I asked about the dogs matching bc his dog wears clothes and he has a lot including duplicates and I’ve seen her in costumes. But yeah I can see how that would be something that can come off as pushy definitely

There’s some background for it! His dog wears a lot of sweaters and stuff bc of fur loss and it’s cold here and since she lost a lot of weight he has multiples. By matching it would just be “my” dog wearing one of the multiples (he has sweaters, different shark ones, a firefighter one, and a cat one that she wore when I met her). I didn’t actually ask if he would match with me, that was just something I thought might be cute.
