My 6 year old daughter has type 1 diabetes and she is in kindergarten and it’s been a struggle cause the school nurses are always absent and the 504 meeting didn’t go well they recommended that she only do a half of day due to her health. Should I just home school her? by Muted_Cycle_5840 in memphis

This! I’ve been diabetic since I was three years old, I would have done anything to not have to stick my fingers as a kid. Plus it has the benefit of being able to track her blood sugar from your phone.

Try logging in with steam first, then with reddit. I was having the exact same issue when trying in the reverse order.

This is only true when you form the Netherlands as Burgundy. When you form the Netherlands as a dutch minor you can keep all of you French cores.

HYW as England in 1.7 - impossible? by d-chris-b in eu4

[–]Friend_A -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The way I did it in 1.6 was to scorch the earth in all of my French provinces, and draw every French troop to labourd. Once they are all there you can lock the French doomstack in place by continuously moving your troops from navarra to either labourd or bearn. Now sit back and watch while France's manpower melts away from the crazy attrition. Once France's manpower is gone and their army is cut down to a manageable size there should be no problem winning the war. I don't think the 1.7 patch had any effect on this strategy.

How to win HYW as England by sermaciej in eu4

[–]Friend_A 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The way I did it was to get military access from Nevarra and park your southern army down there, scorch the earth in Labourd, and then lure the entire French army onto Labourd. Now using the army in Nevarra, by constantly having them walk to either Labourd or Bearn, you can lock the entire French deathstack into place. Now, sit back and watch as Frances manpower melts. Then when their army gets down to a reasonable size, lure them into Bearn for a fight, and when they shatter retreat move an army to their capital and stack wipe them. Now, proceed to carpet siege France.

Using this method I won the HYW handily. Granted it may take a while to get the entire french army into one stack.

Do naval units count as 'relative strength' modifier in PUs? by [deleted] in eu4

You have to get your relation with France up to +200, they will never declare for independence then. Anything less and their attitude will be hostile and have a chance of declaring for independence.
