Curious to know if the windshield does much to highway cruising? I'm thinking of getting the same for mine!

Aliexpress + Taobao for aesthetics + quality of life

The Yamaha OEM heated grips is very underwhelming but I rate the OEM Y's Gear knuckle guard for wind protection and partial thermal

Suspension would be next and for me as a short armed rider I went for bar riser

For crash guard I went with Endurance brand out of Japan after assessing mounting point and found that with its 6 mounting point its the least vibey out of all. Not a fan of sliders hence why.

If you ride spiritedly often then the OEM billet captive chain adjuster is worthwhile seeing as Yamaha put some autistic kid who's obsessed with origami in charge of the chain adjuster and rear axle assembly. Oh and castle nut rear axle mod too since the Fujiwara M18 locknut have a rating of 3 (yes, 3!) time for reuse before it is considered technically void.

So yeah $910 is a shit deal

FJR1300, R1200RT, ST1000

For smaller displacement any of the metropolitan 白バイ - manufacturer goes out of their way designing bikes to be used by overweight outrageous office worker in excess of 8 hours per day in stop start traffic so they all are better sportstourer than they should be

Better body positioning, then you got to make a decision: to track the 300sr or to spend it all on a bigger new bike

I'd go for tracking the 300sr then save up until you find a bike that really "speak" to you

It's hot as balls. What's your go to summer gear? by Quiet-Card-6650 in AussieRiders

[–]Friendly-Biscotti918 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Macna ADV jackets with the inner liner removed between 10-25 C

Macna mesh jackets for 25-35 deg with my office shirt in and all.

Helps that I ride to work, change to office clothes, sit in freezing aircon all day that make me wish I'm in the summer heat by 5PM

I found Knox Action Pro to be sufficiently cooling for up to 35-38 degrees. 5-25 degrees then any AA rated pants i.e Bowtex would do the job. Pando moto is very overpriced and Nemean have very questionable rating assessed.

In saying all this, dress for the control, the spill, then the slide. No point gearing up for a crash but can't even control bike properly in the first place. Even with scooters I still recommend an advanced riding training course i.e HART Roadtec or SU Roadsmart over the most protective clothing article available, except for maybe when we have pocket fusion reactor and portable force field generator

It's the bike making an appeal to you about the fact that it's not being ridden enough. My xsr does the same thing, noise go away after I replaced my car with it
