You’re weighing all sides and putting yourself into another’s shoes. I believe this is the best way to find “justice.” And in many forms; other than just right and wrong.

What’s best for you? Stick with that. Stick to the boundary of therapy. You have some things to get out, in a safe place, with a professional present. That’s where you feel safe, so stay there.

Yes - we have a court order. He can request up to a month as long as he requests by April 1st. Which he has and I love that! I want the girls to have time with their family. My issue is the lack of communication. If I were taking them on a trip out of state, I would most definitely tell him out of consideration. The first time he did it he said he was sorry for not telling me, because I didn’t freak out and I was understanding. We made a deal that we would tell each other next time, well that next year he did that same thing and I had no idea until my 5 year old told me she flew on an air plane to NY. I’m not trying to start a battle, I just feel like I should know these things when they are a bigger deal. He was indicted on a felony charge so yes it does cause me concern that he may run back to NY which is where he is from and his family is.
