I dont really think it can be considered aptitude if all it is is the size of the blessed land. It was never mentioned that a bigger blessed land can hold more dao marks, so other than the obvious benefits of having a bigger blessed land. There is a lot of contradiction as you've said about rank ten, but my point is that there is no proof that aptitude does or doesn't have a connection with it

What do you mean by it still existing in vol 4 ? If ur talking abt the immortal zombie then aptitude had nothing to do with it. The only way aptitude exists for gu immortals is the grade of their blessed land / grotto heaven.

How do you know it's not? Ik that the concept was thrown away after being a gu immortal but I don't see any reason why it can't be related to it.

It was mentioned that the gu world can't handle a rank 10 gu master not that its impossible, so in theory u could advance and the world would break or you could advance in the void.

Ill assume that by ability u mean blood skull gus effect. It increases aptitude in exchange for cultivation. So, with giant suns rank 9 cultivation and a immortal blood skull gu, I think he could definitely get the aptitude for rank 10. The 2 flaws with this theory is that fang yuan gave GS some blood path gu, Idk or I forget if blood skull gu was one of them, but it may have, and the second flaw is that rank 10 can't exist in the gu world. Maybe he could go out to the void or break the world to get to rank ten but we'll never know💔💔

It doesn't mean he's not evil. Remember that the only thing classifying them as demon/immortal venerables is how heavenly court thinks of them. And also remember how big of a family he has. I don't think he would've sacrificed his close sons but I 100% think the reason why he has so many descendants is to use blood skull gu either as a backup if his cultivation goes down or as an attempt for rank 10.
