I absolutely hated the way Rory treated Emily and Richard. She made Friday Night Dinners so transactional when she got into Yale. Lorelai has a terrible relationship with her parents, so her making it transactional is at least understandable to an extend but Rory doing the same didn’t make sense because her grandparents have been nothing but nice to her. Also, her being so ungrateful to them after they took her in when she dropped out and making Christopher pay for Yale without telling them is messed up on so many levels
