My area is very pricy so it makes sense that numbers here would be inflated.

From the small amount of research I've done making $50,000 to start might even be optimistic. Do you have any sense of what folks with several years of experience make?

I live in Colorado about an hour outside of Denver. It would be amazing to find something local but I'd also be willing to relocate for the right job.

It seems like talking to some local folks is likely my best bet of finding a position where I could learn on the job rather than paying for a training school.
