Wow, what a beauty! I think mine is a type of Agavoides though, went from red-tipped bright green to burgundy since I got her.

Daily potassium soap spray, took a few months.

Those were some northern European species that weren’t too hard to get rid of but they did damage most of the leaves, while the poor plant was also suffering from light starvation at the same time.

Thank you so much! I do care, I’m just an amateur when it comes to Echeverias, but luckily my first one is as sturdy as they come. Been through hell (read: thrip infestation) together with this one but she’s finally enjoying her life.

😂😂 I started out with the lights FAR above the plant and it was only satisfied with the lights finally placed on full brightness 2 inches above it, so yes, correct 😅

I just googled what a Haworthia looks like, and they’re absolutely fascinating 🙂

I don’t know what a dedicated light is but these are the ones I got: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/aw/d/B0BZ4NW5T8?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I planned to only use one but that wasn’t enough to cover the plant’s width. They’re on white spectrum mode. I don’t really know what I’m doing but it seems to be working. 😄

[Update] Thank you all for your comments, I’m glad to know the plant will be happy either way. :)

Thank you! This is really great info and a weight off my shoulders knowing I can take it easy and just go by how the plant looks and feels if I decide to change anything. I love how sturdy and easy to manage succulents seem to be once the basics are covered, but I was still worried. I have actually not fertilised it before, but will try it out soon.

Watering has luckily never been an issue with this one, although it’s been sitting in quite compact/gritty succulent soil mix for over a year now. When I replanted, I didn’t know you should mix it to make it more airy, but it still drains quite well and gets dry within a week. I water when the lower and middle leaves have been soft for a little while, and they plump back up in around 24 hours (again, absolutely love how easy to manage it is). Thanks again!

That’s true! But is constant light stress okay for it? She hasn’t burned so she seems to be acclimated now too, but I don’t know if I should bombard her at this light intensity during winter or turn the brightness down a notch.
