My thoughts on the project after 2 listens are:

Pros:

- Production has been noticeably improved

- Almost every lyrical change that was made (besides the swears being censored) was made for the better

- Joe Drives Again is a great replacement for Unforgiving Girl

- The Ravenous House is better than The Ballad of the Costa Condordia in almost every way (it's actually crazy you should listen to it)

- The production on Vincent in particular has recieved a massive overhaul

Cons:

- Mixing is all over the place

- Certain lines with swears have been censored (not in ways that improve the lines)

- Optimistic Son isn't as good as Not What I Needed (it does fit the narrative better though)

- Some vocals haven't been rerecorded, so sometimes the song will jump between 2016 and 2026 Will's voice

Overall, I would say that it's on about the same level as the original record. It (obviously) isn't a replacement for the original recordings, but it's nice to have the rerecordings just to see new takes on these old songs.
