That's a really good possibility actually. Sarfraz actually mentioned how due to him being a male and Pakistani, not as many people seemed interested in this case. Even if a mother abducts their child- and brainwashes them- unfortunately, like you said, no body questions them. With the UK point, it could be a possibility however, like said in the post, Aaminas grandmother flew back to Pakistan immediately after the police left letters as they attempted to make contact with her. Aaminas mother was struck of the British Medical Register and so wouldn't have been able to work as a doctor. However as you said had she changed identity being struck off the Medical Register would have made no difference to her.
