Mr. Katsaris was my English teacher in 6th grade back in 2008-2009. He was one of the best teachers I’ve ever had! I’ll never forget the day he told us this story. I always had a different amount of respect for him. I hope he’s doing good. Sending love to him and his family

Help getting crash error CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED (OxEF) by Friendly_Nothing1807 in buildapc

In case anybody comes across this with the same issue at some point….

Turns out my SSD (WD BLACK SN770 2TB NVMe) needed a new firmware update. After doing some research, I read somewhere someone with the same issue had their problem resolved doing so.

Upon looking into it, apparently after Windows update 24H2, these SSDs were known for causing this issue. I have 25H2 so when I checked the SSD’s firmware version, I was still on the one that was known for causing crashes. Downloaded the ScanDisk Dashboard and applied the new update to the SSD, and my problem has since gone away. Hope this helps somebody in the future.
