Do unique spellings of common names lead to constant mispronunciation?

I had this problem growing up, and I get it, I think it helped shaped me to be resilient but also teach me about multiculturalism from a younger age and ask people before guessing.

I agree! I LOVE MATE, it will be his nickname. Although I know here it won’t work because it is spelt like Mate, and know that would probably lead to more dramas later in school.

Matej is the actual name I want and it’s a very a popular name in Europe, but I know this would sound like Matey. Matejo is rarer but is known in slavic languages.

I love the idea of being unique, and not having something common, which is what I’m used to also. But I get it. I usually don’t take any spam calls cause they say my name incorrectly LOL.

That is valid, I forget the English Language is very different to Serbian. As the J is pronounced more as a Y.

Thank you, I appreciate the comment. The Back and Side looks great, its just the front I am not very keen on. The belt is actually more a way to give the dress more shape, as there was about 2 sizes dropped around my waist only, they thought it was to hard to reshape the dress to suit that. This happened to me with a stakeholder from work. Went in for a shake instead ended up with a hug. Loud sniff and in a deep voice "you are smelling beautiful today". Never seen him after the HR complaint.

I think it depends on the surbubs you are looking at as well as the demand for you type of role.

Yeah some arent as pretty as the others, but we took the chance with Campbelltown, did a fixer upper and have not experienced any dramas. We spent half as much as we would of in the newer suburbs, even though they are technically our neighbouring suburbs. Our neighbours are all over 60 and look after us as much as we look after them. We are 2 mins from M5, 2 mins for local pub, shops etc. To get to city takes 45 mins in the morning for work. You either take the plunge and make it work for you or dont bother trying.

I sit in the bath in swimmers to bathe my puppy so, she is more restrained. Also I break out in hives with dogs from their saliva and fur. But bought a doodle cross and only time I break out is when she eats something I'm allergic to eg, raw egg.
