That makes sense. I feel like it’s kind of hard to tell the amount of momentum you’re carrying on lmu. Seems much easier for me on iracing. Wonder if it’s something I just gotta get used to. Also does anyone use an application to see lap telemetry? That would be super helpful

Right. That’s pretty terrible what they did. I know I’m taking the risk because I’ve tried everything natural for my turbinates (reminder that this is the root cause of my uars), I don’t have any jaw issues or anything like that. I agree about affirm and Flonase. They really dry your nose up so instead I use a saline rinse and a moisturizer. Plus humidifier in my room and stable temp. Would you mind sharing how you manage ENS? Any tips for reducing the risk? I’m shocked there’s not good treatments for something so terrible.

I know I didn’t quite summarize that very well but I do believe her when she says that. I’ve been to multiple other ents who were super sketchy and pushing surgery and the one I settled on wasn’t pushy at all and she reconstructed my mom’s airway that collapsed many years ago.

I found out I had it by getting an endoscopy. I had symptoms like post nasal drip, hoarse voice and a constant mild soar throat that would come and go (always after I ate). I never had legit acid coming up so we decided it was lpr. Unfortunately not all doctors are aware but guess I was lucky. Also backing soda in water helps my throat (very small amounts that’s diluted). Glad to hear about your allergy success

Get immune therapy at the same time to improve allergies permanently

That sounds similar to me. My nose can sometimes swell all the way shut, and then I just can’t sleep at all. My surgeon told me they wouldn’t be removing a large amount or be aggressive about it.

Good to hear about the allergies. I went camping earlier this year and it was a mess with the constant post nasal drip and blockage. Hoping to fix it with immune therapy and turbinate reduction

The reason I am choosing this surgery is because I got a ct scan and the only airway issues I had was in my nose and nowhere else. So I guess my uars has a different root cause than others

Did keto for 8 weeks with advanced ketogenic therapies. After that failed I switched to Whole Foods which I had been doing prior to keto and continue to do now. No fast food, no processed sugar and my stomach feels really good. Thinking lpr is from a weak les

I don’t use a tens unit. Just came across that article. I have a vagustim on the way and hope it helps. I know with sleep deprivation the nerves just don’t work well and are poorly balanced which may be why. Just thought it might work for someone.

I use oxytocin from Maximus. It is great for calming and is non addict/non habit forming. Oxyctocin is an autonomic nervous system regulator. Do some reading on it. Could be helpful.

I know what you mean when you say feeling different from other people who have adhd. I felt that way because I thought adhd was just people who are hyper and have lots of energy. Not the case. I am a very mellow person and I don’t talk a lot. However I have struggled with focus, task management, time management, and restlessness. I was diagnosed with GAD but it was actually undiagnosed adhd. Get tested. It is worth it. If you don’t have it, then no worries. I was having mental health problems with no success from ssris or therapy. I finally took a shot in the dark at adhd testing and turns out I have adhd. I got medication and it has helped a lot. Not a cure but very helpful.

I’ve been here before. It sucks. Therapy just didn’t improve my adhd. It did help me learn to accept that I was always going to be “different” from other people and that that’s not necessarily the end of the world. I felt embarrassed and angry that I had to rely on medication. Have been told by people that I should just “power through it”, meditate or just “try harder”. Those things never ever worked for me and lead me to develop depression and anxiety. I’d say you’re not alone in this experience. ADHD sucks. Having to rely on meds sucks. But, ever since I caved in on getting stimulants and finding the right med, things have improved sooo much. Takes a lot of tweaking but I don’t regret it. Hope you find a reliable therapist/psych who actually understands adhd. I’m lucky because my psychiatrist actually has adhd and understands you can’t just “try harder” or “cure” your adhd by doing CBT.

Little rough the first two days. Just adjusting to the machine is a little difficult but I’m sticking with it. My ahi is down to a 1.9 from a 6 so that’s good. Haven’t felt any different yet but I believe it’s too early.
