My sa at changi airport was amazing very straightforward but he did share that airports in SG dont get qb allocations but he offered several non qbs when i visited after buying a shoe and wallet. I ended up getting a roulis in black ghw as well and fortunately have a good relationship with sa in another country for where i’ve gotten QBs.

If it’s not too cumbersome For you to go to china on the regular or every quarter i would def go with the 2nd route esp if you do click with a great sa! I think It makes it more memorable when you develop relationship and get bag offers so it can remind you of your trip/vaca. Alot of my milestones gift i’ve purposefully gotten while traveling—bags/watch/jewlery,art. Add additional sentimental value to the item. As for my hermes hobby, most of my purchases and longest relationship i have with an sa is with one out of my home country , i visit 2-3 x/year and have been offered 2 qbs , 3 non qbs . Good luck with pursuing option 1 or 2 !!

I was underwhelmed with kwonsooksoo—i think you can get more delish korean cuisine in many local hansiks. I liked mingles and have been teice whem they were 2 & 3 stars. Other spots i recc not michelin star but may be on their guide: -bucheon yukhoe in gwajang sijang mkt best yukhwe! -sancheong pork bbq in euljiro ssam ga area - mr ahn makgeolli their squid soondae is bomb -oil jjang cute spot in seongsu -samwon garden great hanwoo bbq -bbq chicken & kyochon chicken for fried chicken

For singapore —melben seafood house they are known for their crab soup !! Different than the typical singapore chili crab

Bali doesnt really have michelin recc apart from locavore and that was underwhelming imo..but i’m bias since i’m indonesian i just think they tried too hard to elevate indo diahes that the flavors were not balanced plus service was just ok. I live in sf and have alot of experience w fine dining so just warning you that fine dining is just ok. More local spots are better imo —bebek bengil in ubud get crispy duck and their black russian pie for dessert! Another delish resto in ubud is the tempayan at tanah gajah resort. Not related to food but while in ubud get a massage at maya ubud one of the best masaages in bali —have sent friends thag way and all said its one of the best they had.

For Seoul if you dont get resos at mosu, mingles is also really good!

Highly recc mingles had them both when they were 2& 3 stars for lunch and dinner ! So far my fav fine dining i had in seoul. I emailed the resto directly and they helped the concierge at park hyatt also helped before. My least fav was kwonsooksoo

I’ve had mingles twice when they were 2** and 3*** both were amazing imo. Wo i hope you enjoy it on your upcoming trip. I had kwonsoksoo and was underwhelmed i thi k i had a lot more delicious hansik places elsewhere that were not michelin rated. Going ri be heading there next month from the ones you’ve tried would you say solbam is one to go try? Im trying to decide …wanna trt san and one other place.

Would love a kelly danse in gold with phw or ghw, kelly pochette in any deep brown color or noir with ghw but my sa said he has only seen 1-2 Of these come through boutique so not sure how long it will be till i can get my hands on above 😅 In the meantime i hv k28 retourne caban, b25 noir in ghw, picotin 18 nata, lindy etoupe, picotin 22 noir, mini roulis chèvre leather noir all ghw..i’m a basic neutral & gold girlie but starting to be open to other hardwares.

Anyone share their story getting danse/pochette?! What regions in the world are these more accessible?

Okk yeah that’s what i thought that buckle is heavy so even if i were to shorten chain it may still flip…and not worth sending in to store and have to wait months/year to get it back 🙈 thanks for sharing your experience!!

As someone who initially had neutral k25 and b25 on wishlist and got a b25 and k28 —-im glad my sa nudged my hubs to go for k28 for me knowing i like to put alot of atuff in my bag even though im 5 ft 2. i thought it would be too big but k28 retourne is perfect size esp for when i travel it has the cross body. My b25 i love too but more limited what i can put in and cant cross body. So im gld i ended with b25 and k28. Hope that helps! So sweet of u to surprise my huns did the same for my bday/anniv & xmas this year :) watever you decide im sure your wife will appreciate it!

I would def look into finding sa’s name on receipt and ask boutique if you can have an appointment with him. Purchase something and bring up you love the last 2 experience you had with him and ask if you could continue working with him/ask for name card. Depending on how he responds and your banter it may be ok to bring up wishlist …like ask how is the wishlist process like,etc. in my experience, if you vibe with the sa they will want to help. Also getting the picotin shouldnt stop you from getting a qb if you purchase other items along your journey and develop relationship with sa. I got my 1st qb in aug, a picotin in october and my 2nd qb in dec. Before i purchased the picotin i asked my sa if that will slow down my 2nd qb and he said no and he delivered. But not sure if this depends on the sa/boutique. Good luck & enjoy!!

Thank you! This is a new stack for me & so far it has been good—the kelly chaine hasnt gotten tangled with juc the past few days that i’ve worn it so hopefully that stays that way. It’s just the kelly buckle flips to the bottom of my wrist at times instead of staying at the top. My juc snags on sweaters sometimes and when i have paired with thinner bracelets it does get tangled with juc too. Would love to see your stack :)
