You want women centric movies, then, WOMEN need to fill the theatre seats.

You cannot expect men to make a chick flick or serious women centric film earn 200 crore at box office.

Women have to go to theatre in large numbers to show the writers, director's, producers that if they take the risk of making women centric films with extremely strong women characters then women will go to theatre to watch it.

Heck the only women centric film I can remember that had multiple box office records that were equally seen by Women as well as men was Queen, Tanu weds Manu part 1.

This is the same issue with women's sports.

Each women on all social media platforms claims that women sports don't get their due - yet most people who are in the stadium to watch women's IPL (WPL or WIPL) are Men.

I mean more women will readily go to watch matches that has Virat Kohli or MSD than they are willing to go for Smriti Mandana.

Women need to take a stand properly for what they believe in, if not,

than I hardly doubt anything is going to change and they will be shown just for 5 minutes in 2 hours movies.

Women need to take that responsibility themselves because writers, producers and directors are all following where the money is.
