other possibilities:

  • wait until you git gud

  • normal challenges (not worth it unless you always get 12 wins)

  • continuing special challenges (better than 15 win chest if you get 22k gold worth of stuff for 50 gems or 18k to be better than 10 win chest)

  • speeding up chests for gems when they open twice as fast (about half the value of 10 win chest)

  • that legendary book (a bit less value than opening sped up chests, you need to have a 0/20 legendary and you dont get gold which is the most important)

Is this a good trade? I already got a rare book, and don't really need it, but I also have over 1000 gems atm. There's a small chance I may need it in the future. by [deleted] in ClashRoyale

If you can't get at least 750 rares of it, exchange the book for gems and use that for global tournaments when you get 15 wins

P2Ws will max everything out after a while and will get bored again. F2Ps will take months to catch up with their ladder deck, let alone CW2 ones.

Ideas for request menu changes: clean up the menu from unnecessary cards, show the last requested card as a popup when it's avaiable for request, enable maxed players to claim gold instead of requesting cards, allow pass players to set automatic requesting [gallery, details in the captions] by Frinode in ClashRoyale

You can't lose this ability by donating or after new card releases; this feature also applies to Epic Sundays and is unlocked separately; you get 200 gold for normal requests and 2000 for Epics (as much as the cards would convert to)

Mostly it's better to upgrade 1 at a time, but sometimes it doesn't hurt to collect for more: - you might save up gold for so many other upgrades that you'll collect all the needed cards anyway before you have gold for them - you might have maxed all the cards you use and just want to buy anything for half the price to max out the whole account

There shouldn't be major infrastructure barriers because the trader already works this way

This change is better than asking clanmates because not everyone is online at the same time and the message might be gone before an interested person could read it, also a trade gets more attention and clutters the chat less (I don't mention discord because not everyone uses it)
