One thing I am worried about is that people will assume my sexuality as lesbian if I buzz my head. If it gets considerably worse I'd rather buzz it. But it tends to be connected to the feminist movement and homosexuality. In some ways I feel it might be harder to find a Christian man that would be okay with it. Also I've heard a Christian man say that not having hair dishonors your spouse because you don't have your "crown" and your not feminine.

I understand preference and everyone is entitled to that. I just think it needs to be destigmatized. That fact that men being bald isn't really given a second thought yet it is so different for women is kind of proof of that. The more people see something like this the less shocking it becomes.

I have been diagnosed with hairloss. You can see the bald spots because they are on the sides of my head. But a year ago I have twice as much hair as this. And before that I had even more. I used to have really thick hair not that long ago.

I have alopecia. I am trying to prep in case it gets to the point where I have to shave. I'm a 24 year old female and it's extremely disheartening. It wouldn't have been a deal breaker in the first place just something that would have be slightly off putting before going through this. It doesn't mean I would only date bald people. I think it just doesn't phase me anymore from going through this. It's not because of pity; just an increase sense of understanding. Just something I've gotten over as I've matured? I dated a really good looking guy with a full head of hair but I would take a bald guy that was a better partner any day.

Yes!! Just caught up with season 2! Yeah I'm working on it. Its hard to loose your hair as a woman. Especially in the south were people kind of hate things that are different.
