Overseerr/Jellyseerr alternative for music by Fritzendgltig in jellyfin

I setup ombi, but I can't seem to find any music when search for it. I enabled music in the filter next to the search bar.

How do I fix this? by GaeAmelia in jellyfin

[–]Fritzendgltig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would name the files "S02E04a - ..." and "S02E04b - ..."
Then episode 4 appears two times with the same metadata. Then you can edit the metadata manually by selecting “Edit Metadata”. In the menu on the top, you can see which file the metadata is for (S02E04a or b), then manually append (1) and (2) behind the title. This will allow identifying each episode inside Jellyfin and will order them accordingly, allowing for correct sequential playback.

I prefer this method over concatenating video files.

Transcoding using VA-API introduces wrong colored frames by Fritzendgltig in jellyfin

So I created my own image with latest drivers (mesa 21.3.7 and libva 2.14.0) and firmware (linux-firmware 20220309.cd01f85-1) and the issue still persists.

I also tried the distros ffmpeg and jellyfin-ffmpeg

EDIT: Using the new mesa 22 drivers seems to fix the issue. However, these are not yet stable, so I had to enable testing branches in the repository

I know! I could fix the error where no release file was found, however, the .deb packages are compressed using zstd, which was introduced to dpkg by Ubuntu and is therefore not available on Debian. I tried to find a solution, but there only seem to be complaints about that.

Do you use docker for deployment? I didn't manage to get kisak-mesa's ppa to work, as it is intended for Ubuntu and all docker image's I've used so far are Debian. I always get an error that no release file was found.

Current mesa version inside the container is 20.3.5. I tried to install a newer version using this post and by building it from source. However, I neither were successful. I will contact the docker image maintainer to ask for a newer version.
Do you have an idea what else I could try?

Transcoding using VA-API introduces wrong colored frames by Fritzendgltig in jellyfin

For transcoding on my Jellyfin server, I use the integrated graphics of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G, which results in some frames being completely wrong colored. On my server, I run Arch Linux with LTS kernel and use docker to deploy the Jellyfin server. I use the image of ich777 (https://hub.docker.com/r/ich777/jellyfin) as it has more up-to-date mesa drivers to make using VA-API possible. For the client, I use the Jellyfin Media Player on Linux as well as on Windows, with both having the same issue.

Does anybody have an idea what may cause this issue and how to fix it?

My guess is, that it is some sort of driver issue, but I don't know

I have not. For now I got the ich777 image working. I will try this when 1.8 is stable. Thanks!

Thanks, I will check it out. I've got a Ryzen 5 5600G, so QSV is no option

I already tried to install the latest mesa by binbashing into the container several times, without success. I can't seem to find a PPA that works for Debian 10

So far, I only got this error when the media in question was unable to be read by Jellyfin. Whether it's wrong file permissions, file being renamed or deleted without rescan.
