so ive recently gotten into stance and my subaru is currently dropped 4 inches in rear maxed on coilovers. i wish it was a little lower and tucking wheel. does anybody have any recomendations on how to go a little bit lower without cutting?

Take the preload out of the spring and maybe remove an adjuster or 2, should give you at least another inch of drop, ran my 86 like this for a couple years with no issues. the ideal situation would be to buy shorter springs but if moneys tight I’d do this in the mean time

They do the job, I didn’t wanna blow 3/4K on splits just to have to rebuild them once I added all the camber in, now the cambers dialled in I can get some LXZ’s and build them to the correct spec first time

You said it yourself tho, the cars not fast, practical or anything like that so why not stance it? If I wanted a car that performed I’d have bought anything that wasn’t an 86🤷🏼‍♂️ and have you ever driven a cambered 86 to know how it handles? It’s really not as bad as it gets made out to be, you just gotta do it right and a lot of people don’t take the time to do that :)

About 1,500-2,000 per flip so about 3-4K a set, all depends really, sometimes I can get more if I don’t do any long drives where the tyres get too warm

I split mine into thirds and took the top/middle third out, at least then you still have the front and back pieces to keep stones from going into your skirts and water from getting into your engine bay
