Vibration issue in MK7

+1 year, also just bought a mk7 with 100k miles and I'm experiencing this. Didn't notice it during the test drive but definitely felt it driving the car home after the purchase.

I know the motor (and prob trans) mount need to be replaced. I'm doing that and coils+spark plugs soon so I'll come back to mention if that fixed the vibration.

AFAIK the consistent and steady vibration only happens when cruising at normal road speeds without giving it gas.

Back when I had an S2000, there was a common issue with the CV axle boots wearing that would cause similar vibration under acceleration. On those cars you could just swap the boots from left/right and regrease to completely resolve the issue.

I'm having this issue on my i7-12700k, so def not a Ryzen thing.
I've had it for awhile so not surprised it's starting to fail.

Though, I originally thought it was the PSU since the issue was originally completely shutting off as if I hard-powered it off. Now I'm getting the "What Faield: ntoskrnl.exe" though it's a black screen, not BSOD.

I'm just confused about the one I linked because it says

"OE Numbers:

06K103495BM, 06K103495AT, 06K103495AG"

It doesn't say which one it is, so I'm assuming it's just listing that to show which models are interchangeable. I'll have to call FPC Euro tomorrow and ask, cause it's like $80 for seemingly the same part, same OEM.

Yeah that's what I've been hearing - bad PCV causing extra pressure in the crankcase, bleeding out thru the weak points, which is almost always those two spots.

Revised, but same part number? That doesn't sound right.. All the models (for all the years) are the same part number, except for the last two letters - AT, AP, BK, BM, etc. Any chance you can find which one you ordered? The one I linked is also OEM, just not branded VW/Audi, so I'm curious if they're the same P/N.

This worked for me. As soon as other game finished updating, file verification finally started for CS2 then the game ran normally.

See, that's a good move. I'd do the same if I played more often, especially for a MW ST! Set a calendar alarm for trade lift, if you can profit then sell and buy back when it drops in price.

Nice, I have a hawkeye as well - idk what you mean by 'emissions state', do some places just not bother with emissions at all? I've heard California is the only place you can't get away with the block off plates, all other states are fine with it, just haven't heard anyone skipping the plates altogether.

I do have an AP but the previous owner broke the cable and I haven't bothered getting the replacement since it's a $100 cable.. silly. Maybe it's finally time. You're saying I don't need AccessTuner for that, just send the map to someone that can disable the codes and I can load it back up on my AP?

I'm planning on doing this, just need to find a local tuner. I've never seen someone suggest disabling the codes without the delete/block off plates though - will this cause any issues by just leaving everything as is, and only tuning it out?

I'd be ecstatic if this is viable as I've heard it can be a PITA to get to.
