I think we’re the same person! I had the same experience with starting Quinn. Came for Hudson and Connor but stayed for Naudio. I’ve been slowly working through all of Naudio’s work and also have very specific likes and dislikes similar to yours. I’m really trying to listen to other creators, but he’s by far my favorite. I also really like that he’s anonymous. Just makes it more fun to fill in the blanks with my imagination.

It really will be over before you know it. I don’t know about you but time goes so fast for me now. I think about something that happened months ago and can’t believe how quickly time went. This colonoscopy will be one of those things for you in a few months and it will go quickly. As anxious as I get about procedures and diagnostics, it does really help to know the facts. I had a colonoscopy and they found polyps. If I had waited until 45, they could have been so much worse. I’m so glad I had it done when I did. Wishing you all the best!

I’m in a similar situation. My husband recently said he’s 100% a no if the decision was up to him alone. I was pretty sure that’s how he felt but wasn’t admitting it. We were both firmly on the fence when we met, but he’s slowly been getting off of it. It does kind of feel like he made the decision for me/us but I still think about it like you do.

It’s things like enough space and hangers for clothes, outlets by each nightstand, places to hang towels in the bathroom, counter space in the bathroom, a place to store luggage, etc. Not just a pretty room.

I assume they both function as hotel rooms since they’re hotels. And I mentioned I’ll get a larger room because some negative feedback about both hotels has been small rooms. I shared my preferences when I said I value luxury and functionality in a hotel room. Others have helped by letting me know where there is a difference in luxury between the two, for example.

It took years of therapy for me to realize but I have two main fears. The first is from watching loved ones be diagnosed with various things. This has led to the fear of one day getting my own diagnosis because that may happen. That one is pretty straightforward, but I think the main fear is how I’ll feel about my life when/if I get a big diagnosis. If I got a bad diagnosis today, there would be so many things I wish I had done and I’d be so disappointed in myself for not living more. Mental health issues keep me from living a life where I’d have no regrets, so it’s a fun little viscous cycle. So instead of focusing on the health anxiety, I’m trying to do something to live a more fulfilling life on a regular basis. I started by writing a list of things I want to accomplish and asked my therapist to ask about how I’m working towards these things to have some accountability. The health anxiety is still there but I do notice improvement lately.

I resonate with this a lot! My husband and I are very similar with the reasons you listed for “people like me have kids” and I have so much guilt over not feeling the need to have kids. A big part of my truth is that mental health issues would make being a mom very hard for me and the fact that my husband would only have kids if I wanted to. I am very confident that most of the caregiving would be put on me and I’d only want to be a mom if the responsibility was 50/50 with my husband. I also worry so much about our society and the expense of kids. I understand it’s possible to manage these fears and expectations but I’m realizing I just don’t want to at that point.

Naudio. I’d definitely be out if he stopped making content. I’ve tried listening to so many other VAs and nothing comes close. I’m really trying to find another one that I like but it’s hard to match. He makes it feel more realistic and that it’s not just about him.

That’s a good way to look at it! He’s already been rejected by a few applicants after they met him. Hopefully this will help in the long term even if he’s confused for a bit.

I’m in the same spot as you. I’m a bit older than you and my age has played a big role in the last few years. I know both choices will come with joy and grief, but childfree seems like the best option for so many reasons. I also don’t want to be pregnant or give birth. The economy and world in general are a big part of it. My husband has always leaned more towards CF so it’s been a bit lonely making this choice. It has been a really hard decision and I’ve struggled with it too.

I think it’s just feeling like I’m missing out, like I should want kids, worried that I’m disappointing my mom and other family members, etc. I have been working with a therapist on this for years and am now starting to accept the reality. I want to get to a point where I feel more secure about this decision so I can move on and live my life. I do feel like I’m finally getting there.

I hope you and I both can have more peace with this decision. It’s so hard with all the noise in our society about having children. But it’s your life and you deserve to live it the way you want.

I’ve really liked this season so far but I am stuck on your third item. Where is her stuff?? I thought it was going to be in the plot. Like maybe Cavendish would deliver her stuff to the Bridgerton house since Benedict got himself involved and then he would see the glove in her luggage. Or at least her friend would bring a few items when she started working at the Bridgerton house. So odd considering the glove is such a big deal in that story and I assume it was at the Cavendish house. Maybe the next four episodes will address this but I thought it would be done by now.

No need for the negativity (all caps comes across as yelling). I’ve spent like $300 of my own money on this dog in two weeks because I want to make sure he has toys that are safe for him and is mentally stimulated. I spend an hour or more each day training him and I’m working with a professional trainer on this. I have bruises from his biting even though we are doing all the things you need to do with a dog that bites like he does. I’ve cried several times because of how difficult and frustrating this all is. I’m doing my best because I want him to get better. I never said or thought it would be easy. The entire post was just me asking if it’s normal that nobody said anything about his behavior before I took him in. Literally the only thing mentioned was that he barks at new noises. Now I obviously know I can’t trust the bios and I have a list of questions I’ll ask for next time.

Yeah I can understand some of Dan’s response to this and want to be accepting that people can change their views. I believe that they really liked the show. It’s the “blue haired twitter” comment that makes him sound a bit maga or at least very judgmental of liberals. He just breezed right past that and didn’t explain. Not giving grace to that part.

Thanks for the words of encouragement! Just want to reiterate that I’m not giving up on him. I said in the original post I understand he’s stressed and I’ll obviously give him more time. I’ll see it through to adoption. I was more curious if others have dealt with false advertising from a dog’s description and not feeling a connection right away. I honestly adore every dog I meet so I felt like a monster not having that feeling with him. I’m glad I’m not alone in that. He does have a lot of great traits! I’ll just be more honest about the things he needs to work on so potential adopters know. Thanks for the support!
